About

I’m Fernando. I’m a 27-year-old PhD student/researcher at BioMachines LabInstitute of Telecommunications, and BioISI. My PhD thesis is dedicated to evolutionary online behaviour learning and adaptation in multirobot systems, and is at the intersection of robotics, evolutionary computation, and machine learning. My research goal is to design adaptive and robust robots by taking inspiration from biological principles at multiple levels. My PhD advisers are Anders Lyhne Christensen and Luís Correia.

I’m always interested in potential collaborations and available to answer research questions, so feel free to contact me.
